about coaching

Coaching arrived on the business scene approximately 15 years ago. It is believed to be one of the latest trends in executive development and leadership building. Coaching can take many forms and they all stem from either personal or business coaching definitions:

business coaching: business people such as executives, managers and owners working on such issues as leadership development, organizational strategy and effectiveness, succession planning, team building, increasing sales and/or motivation, career development, communication/interpersonal skills, and improved client relations.

personal coaching: zeros in on individuals wanting to work on personal and interpersonal matters such as work/life balance, career transitioning, changing belief systems, coping with sudden change, improving communication skills, living a happier, more fulfilling life.

The beauty of coaching is that the line often blurs between the two as the client unearths issues around integrity, wellbeing, bottom line results and heightened self awareness. Significant and life altering impacts are far from uncommon and many clients wonder how they managed for so long without a coaching component to their lives.
